It supports a wide operating voltage range from 1.4V to 3.6V for both configurable power-supply rails (VCCA and VCCB), enabling universal low-voltage bidirectional translation between 1.5V, 1.8V, 2.5V, and 3.3V voltage nodes. The transceiver transmits data bidirectionally between the A and B buses, controlled by the DIR input. The OE (Output Enable) input can disable outputs, effectively isolating the buses.

 

Key features include overvoltage-tolerant inputs/outputs, Ioff support for partial-power-down mode, and dynamic drive capability equivalent to standard outputs. ESD protection exceeds JESD 22 standards, including Human-Body Model, Machine Model, and Charged-Device Model. Latch-up performance exceeds 100 mA per JESD 78, Class II.
