The SN74ABT2240ADWR is an octal inverting buffer and line driver designed by Texas Instruments for 3-state memory address drivers, clock drivers, and bus-oriented receivers and transmitters. It is organized as two 4-bit line drivers with separate active-low output-enable (OE) inputs. When OE is low, the device passes inverted data from the A inputs to the Y outputs. When OE is high, the outputs enter a high-impedance state.
The device operates over a supply voltage range of 4.5V to 5.5V and is characterized for operation from -40°C to 85°C. The outputs are designed to sink up to 12 mA and include equivalent 25-ohm series resistors to reduce overshoot and undershoot. The SN74ABT2240ADWR is offered in a 20-pin SOIC package with a surface mount mounting type.
