SN65HVD3080EDGSR

The SN65HVD3080EDGSR from Texas Instruments is a balanced driver and receiver designed for full-duplex RS-485 or RS-422 data bus networks. It is compliant with the TIA/EIA-485A standard and supports signaling rates up to 200 kbps. This transceiver operates from a 4.5V to 5.5V supply and features a wide common-mode range of -7V to 12V, with fault protection from -9V to 14V.

Designed for power-sensitive applications, the SN65HVD3080EDGSR has a low quiescent current of 375 µA typical and consumes only 2 nA in shutdown mode. It supports up to 256 nodes per bus and offers robust protection with 16 kV ESD protection on bus pins and 6 kV on all pins.
