The Texas Instruments SN54157J is a quadruple 2-line to 1-line data selector/multiplexer implemented in TTL technology. It selects one of two 4-bit data sources under control of a common select input.
The device operates from a 4.5 V to 5.5 V supply voltage and is specified for the full military temperature range of -55 to 125 C. It is housed in a CDIP (J) ceramic dual-in-line package with through-hole mounting, suitable for high-reliability and harsh environment applications.
As a TTL logic device, the SN54157J provides standard TTL switching performance and is compatible with other TTL family logic. The CDIP package offers robust thermal and mechanical performance for demanding environments.
