The ON Semiconductor SMS05CT1G is a 5-line surge protection array designed for applications requiring transient voltage protection. It is intended for use in over-transient voltage and ESD sensitive equipment such as computers, printers, automotive electronics, and networking communication.
This device features a monolithic common anode design that protects five independent lines within a single TSOP-6 package. Key electrical specifications include a peak power dissipation of 350W (8/20µs waveform), a reverse standoff voltage of 5V, and a clamping voltage of 14.5V at peak pulse current. It provides ESD protection rated up to 8.0 kV per the Human Body Model and 15 kV per IEC 61000-4-2 air discharge.
