The Vishay Dale SMP6.0A-M3/84A is a Transient Voltage Suppressor (TVS) diode designed for protecting sensitive electronics. It offers a peak pulse power dissipation of 400W with a 10/1000 μs waveform and a peak forward surge current of 40A.
This TVS diode has a reverse standoff voltage of 6V and a clamping voltage of 10.3V at peak pulse current. It operates within a temperature range of -55°C to 150°C (TJ). The device is suitable for general purpose applications, providing protection against voltage transients induced by inductive load switching and lighting.
