The Vishay Dale SMP3V3-M3/84A is a surface mount Transient Voltage Suppressor (TVS) diode, part of the TRANSZORB® series. It is designed to protect sensitive electronics from voltage transients induced by inductive load switching and lighting.
This diode features a very low profile with a typical height of 1.0 mm, making it ideal for automated placement. It offers a 400W peak pulse power capability with a 10/1000 μs waveform, excellent clamping capability, and a very fast response time. The working peak voltage is 3.3V, with a breakdown voltage typically at 7.3V.
Packaged in a DO-220AA (SMP) case, the SMP3V3-M3/84A is suitable for general-purpose applications in consumer, computer, industrial, and telecommunication sectors. It meets MSL level 1 and is RoHS-compliant and halogen-free.
