The Samtec SMM-122-02-S-D is a 44 position, 2 row, 2.00mm pitch surface mount receptacle connector from the SMM Tiger Eye series. It features a black liquid crystal polymer insulator and beryllium copper contacts with 30µ" gold plating on the mating area and matte tin on the tails. The connector is rated for 3.2A per pin (2 pins powered) and 350VAC, with an operating temperature range of -55°C to +125°C.
Designed for board-to-board or cable applications, this vertical receptacle uses a push-pull fastening system and supports data rates up to 8 Gbps. The contact system is the high-reliability Tiger Eye multi-finger design. The connector has an insulation height of 3.56mm and an insertion depth range of 3.05mm to 3.25mm.
The SMM-122-02-S-D is packaged in tubes with 13 parts per package. It is lead-free solderable and has a flammability rating of UL94 V-0. The SMT lead coplanarity is 0.10mm maximum.
