The SMM-106-02-S-D-K-TR is a 12-position, 2-row, 2.00mm pitch surface mount receptacle from Samtec's Tiger Eye series. It uses a high-reliability multi-finger Beryllium Copper contact system with 30µin gold plating on the mating area and matte tin on the termination tails. The insulator is black Liquid Crystal Polymer (LCP) rated UL94 V-0.
Electrical ratings include 3.2A per pin (with 2 pins powered) and 350VAC. The operating temperature range is -55°C to 125°C. The connector supports data rates up to 8 Gbps, making it suitable for high-speed board-to-board or cable applications. The push-pull fastening type and insertion depth of 3.05mm to 3.25mm ensure reliable mating.
Packaging is tape and reel with 850 pieces per reel, and the part includes a pick and place pad for automated assembly. SMT lead coplanarity is 0.10mm maximum. This connector mates with Samtec TMM, TMMH, MTMM, and other series.
