The Vishay Dale SMF6V0A-E3-08 is a surface-mount Transient Voltage Suppressor (TVS) diode. It is designed for general purpose applications and provides 200W of peak pulse power capability with a 10/1000 μs waveform.
Key electrical characteristics include a breakdown voltage of 6V and a clamping voltage of 10.3V at 50A. The diode offers excellent clamping capability and low incremental surge resistance. It also features ESD immunity up to ±30 kV contact discharge and ±30 kV air discharge according to IEC 61000-4-2.
Packaged in a DO-219AB (SMF) case, this device is suitable for wave and reflow soldering. The operating temperature range is -65°C to 175°C (TJ), with a junction temperature maximum of 175°C.
