The Vishay Dale SMF5V0A-M3-08 is a robust 200W unidirectional ESD protection diode designed for high-reliability applications. It features a 5V standoff voltage and a clamping voltage of 9.2V at 21.7A peak pulse current.
This TVS diode provides excellent ESD protection with immunity up to ±30 kV contact and air discharge according to IEC 61000-4-2. It also offers a peak forward surge current capability of 50A for an 8.3 ms single half sine-wave.
The SMF5V0A-M3-08 is housed in a low-profile SMF (DO-219AB) package, suitable for surface mounting. Its operating temperature range is -65°C to 175°C (TJ), and it is wave and reflow solderable.
This component is ideal for automotive electronics, industrial control systems, and consumer device ESD protection. It is AEC-Q101 qualified and RoHS compliant.
