The Vishay Dale SMF5V0A-HE3-08 is a surface-mount Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) protection diode designed for automotive applications. It features a 5V standoff voltage and a 9.2V clamping voltage at 50A.
This TVS diode provides 200W of peak pulse power capability with a 10/1000 μs waveform and offers ESD immunity up to ±30 kV contact discharge and ±30 kV air discharge, meeting IEC 61000-4-2 standards. It also meets human body model ESD capability of > 8 kV (class H3B) according to AEC-Q101.
The component is housed in a low-profile DO-219AB (SMF) package, suitable for wave and reflow soldering. Its operating temperature range is -65°C to 175°C.
