The SMF15A-T13 is a unidirectional TVS diode from Littelfuse designed to protect sensitive electronics from voltage transients. It features a 15V reverse standoff voltage and a clamping voltage of 24.4V at 8.2A peak pulse current, with a peak pulse power rating of 200W (10/1000μs waveform). The device provides ESD protection up to 30kV (air and contact) per IEC 61000-4-2 and exhibits a response time of less than 1 nanosecond.
This TVS diode is suitable for general purpose applications such as I/O interfaces, VCC bus protection, and portable electronics. It is housed in a low-profile SOD-123F surface mount package with a maximum height of 1.08mm, making it ideal for space-constrained designs. The component is rated for operating temperatures from -55°C to 150°C.
