The Semtech SMF05C.TCT is a unidirectional TVS diode array designed for general-purpose circuit protection. It features a reverse standoff voltage of 5V and a clamping voltage of 12.5V, providing protection against transient voltage spikes. The device can handle a peak pulse current of 8A (8/20µs waveform) and a peak pulse power of 100W.
This TVS diode array integrates 5 unidirectional channels in a compact SC-70-6 surface-mount package, making it suitable for space-constrained applications. It operates over a temperature range of -55°C to 125°C and has a low capacitance of 130pF at 1MHz, minimizing signal degradation in high-speed data lines.
The SMF05C.TCT is RoHS3 compliant and has an MSL rating of 1 (unlimited). It is ideal for protecting sensitive electronics from electrostatic discharge (ESD) and other transient overvoltage events in general-purpose applications.
