The SMDJ9.0A-T7 is a 3000W peak pulse power TVS diode from Littelfuse, designed to protect sensitive electronic equipment from voltage transients induced by lightning and other transient voltage events. It features a reverse standoff voltage of 9V and a clamping voltage of 15.4V at a peak pulse current of 194.8A (10/1000μs waveform).
This unidirectional Zener TVS diode offers a fast response time of less than 1ps from 0V to breakdown voltage. It is rated for ESD protection per IEC 61000-4-2 at 30kV (air and contact) and is compliant with IEC 61000-4-4 for EFT protection. The device operates over a junction temperature range of -65°C to 150°C and is housed in a surface-mount DO-214AB (SMC) package with matte tin terminal finish.
The SMDJ9.0A-T7 is suitable for general-purpose applications including protection of I/O interfaces, VCC bus, and other vulnerable circuits in telecom, computer, industrial, and consumer electronics. It is RoHS3 compliant, halogen free, and has a UL 94 V-0 flammability rating.
