The SMDJ8.5CA is a 3000W bidirectional TVS diode from Littelfuse's SMDJ series, designed to protect sensitive electronic circuits from voltage transients induced by lightning and other transient events. It features a reverse standoff voltage of 8.5V, a minimum breakdown voltage of 9.44V, and a maximum clamping voltage of 14.4V at a peak pulse current of 208.3A (10/1000µs waveform).
