The SMDJ60A is a unidirectional transient voltage suppression (TVS) diode from Littelfuse, designed to protect sensitive electronic equipment from voltage transients induced by lightning and other transient events. It offers a reverse standoff voltage of 60V, a minimum breakdown voltage of 66.7V, and a maximum clamping voltage of 96.8V at 31A peak pulse current.
With a peak pulse power dissipation of 3000W (10/1000µs waveform), the SMDJ60A provides robust protection in a compact surface mount DO-214AB (SMC) package. It features a fast response time of less than 1.0ps and a low typical reverse leakage current of under 2µA. The device can operate over a junction temperature range of -65°C to 150°C.
Ideal for general purpose applications, this TVS diode is commonly used in I/O interfaces, VCC bus protection, telecom, computing, consumer electronics, and industrial systems. The SMDJ60A is halogen free and lead free (Pb-free E3), supporting environmentally conscious designs.
