The SMDJ54A is a unidirectional TVS diode from Littelfuse, designed for general purpose transient voltage suppression. It features a reverse standoff voltage of 54V and a maximum clamping voltage of 87.1V at 34.4A peak pulse current (10/1000µs waveform). The device can handle 3000W of peak pulse power. It is surface mount packaged in a DO-214AB (SMC) case.
The SMDJ54A offers a typical response time of less than 1.0ps and a typical reverse leakage current of less than 2µA. It operates over a junction temperature range of -65°C to 150°C and is stored at -65°C to 175°C. The part is RoHS3 compliant, lead-free (Pb-free E3), and halogen-free.
This TVS diode is suitable for protecting sensitive electronics from voltage transients in general purpose applications such as I/O interfaces, VCC bus, and telecom, computer, and industrial equipment.
