The SMDJ51CA is a bidirectional Zener-type TVS diode from Littelfuse designed to protect sensitive electronic equipment from voltage transients. It features a reverse standoff voltage of 51V and a maximum clamping voltage of 82.4V at the peak pulse current of 36.4A (10/1000µs waveform). With a peak pulse power dissipation of 3000W, it is suitable for I/O interfaces, VCC bus, and other vulnerable circuits in telecom, computer, industrial, and consumer applications. The device is mounted in a DO-214AB (SMC) surface-mount package and has a response time of less than 1.0 ps. It is halogen-free and RoHS compliant, with a lead-free matte tin terminal finish.
