The SMDJ43CA is a bidirectional Zener TVS diode from Littelfuse designed to protect sensitive electronic equipment from voltage transients. It features a reverse standoff voltage of 43V and a clamping voltage of 69.4V. The device can handle 3000W peak pulse power (10/1000μs waveform) and 43.2A peak pulse current. Response time is less than 1ps, and leakage current is typically less than 2μA. ESD protection is rated at 30kV for both air and contact discharge per IEC 61000-4-2.
