The SMDJ24CA is a bidirectional transient voltage suppression (TVS) diode from Littelfuse Inc. It is designed to protect sensitive electronic equipment from voltage transients induced by lightning and other transient events. This device features a reverse standoff voltage of 24V and a maximum clamping voltage of 38.9V at a peak pulse current of 77.1A (10/1000µs waveform). With a peak pulse power dissipation of 3000W, it offers robust protection for a variety of applications.
Key electrical characteristics include a breakdown voltage range of 26.7V to 29.5V, a maximum reverse leakage current of 2µA at Vrwm, and a fast response time of less than 1ps.
