The SMDJ24A is a 3000W transient voltage suppression (TVS) diode from Littelfuse, designed to protect sensitive electronic equipment from voltage transients induced by lightning and other transient events. It features a reverse standoff voltage of 24V, a minimum breakdown voltage of 26.7V, and a maximum clamping voltage of 38.9V at a peak pulse current of 77.1A (10/1000µs waveform).
The device is unidirectional and offers a peak pulse power dissipation of 3000W, with a response time of less than 1.0ps. It is rated for an operating temperature range of -65°C to 150°C. The SMDJ24A is supplied in a DO-214AB (SMC) surface mount package, suitable for automated assembly.
