The SMDJ12CA-HRA is a bidirectional TVS diode from Littelfuse's SMDJ-HRA high reliability series. It is designed to protect sensitive electronic equipment from voltage transients induced by lightning and other transient events. Key electrical specifications include a reverse standoff voltage of 12V, a maximum clamping voltage of 19.9V at a peak pulse current of 150.8A (10/1000µs waveform), and a peak pulse power rating of 3000W. The device can dissipate up to 6.5W on an infinite heat sink at 50°C. It operates over a junction temperature range of -65°C to 150°C.
The diode is housed in a surface mount DO-214AB (SMC) package, suitable for automated assembly.
