The SMDJ12A from Littelfuse is a unidirectional TVS diode designed for transient voltage protection. It has a reverse standoff voltage of 12V and a clamping voltage of 19.9V at 150.8A peak pulse current. With a peak pulse power dissipation of 3000W (10/1000μs waveform), it protects sensitive electronics from lightning and other transient events. The device features a fast response time of <1ps and low leakage current of 2μA. It is housed in a DO-214AB (SMC) surface mount package, with matte tin lead-free plating and MSL 1 rating. Operating temperature range is -65°C to 150°C. Ideal for I/O interfaces, VCC bus, and general purpose protection in telecom, computer, industrial, and consumer applications.
