The SMDA15C is a bidirectional TVS diode array designed to protect sensitive electronics from voltage transients including ESD, EFT, and lightning. It features 4 bidirectional channels, each with a standoff voltage of 15V and a minimum breakdown voltage of 16.7V at 1mA. The maximum clamping voltage is 24V at 1A, and the peak pulse power rating is 300W for an 8/20µs waveform.
With a maximum leakage current of only 1µA at the standoff voltage and a maximum capacitance of 70pF at 1MHz, this device is suitable for high-speed data lines such as RS-232, RS-422, and parallel ports. The operating temperature range is -55°C to +125°C, and the storage temperature range is -55°C to +150°C.
The SMDA15C is housed in a surface mount 8-SOIC package (8-SO supplier package) with an approximate weight of 0.1 grams. It is available in tape and reel packaging per EIA Standard 481, with a standard quantity of 2500 pieces per reel. The device is lead-free and verified as Pb-Free.
