The SMDA05CDR2G is a bidirectional TVS diode array from onsemi designed to protect up to four high-speed data lines from ESD, EFT, and surge events. It features a reverse standoff voltage of 5 V and a minimum breakdown voltage of 6 V at 1 mA. The clamping voltage is 9.8 V at 1 A and 11 V at 5 A under an 8/20 µs waveform.
This device offers a peak pulse power rating of 300 W and a peak pulse current of 17 A (8/20 µs). It meets IEC 61000-4-2 ESD immunity with ±15 kV air discharge and ±8 kV contact discharge, IEC 61000-4-4 EFT immunity of 40 A (5/50 ns), and IEC 61000-4-5 surge immunity of 12 A (8/20 µs). Maximum reverse leakage current is 20 µA at 5 V, and junction capacitance is 350 pF at 1 MHz.
The SMDA05CDR2G is housed in an 8-SOIC surface-mount package with a UL flammability rating of 94 V-0. It is RoHS3 compliant, Pb-Free, and Halogen Free/BFR Free. The operating temperature range is -55°C to 150°C (junction).
