The SMDA03 is a unidirectional transient voltage suppression (TVS) diode array from SMC Diode Solutions, designed to protect sensitive electronics from voltage transients caused by ESD, EFT, and lightning. It provides electrically isolated protection for four unidirectional lines.
Key electrical specifications include a maximum stand-off voltage of 3.3V, a minimum breakdown voltage of 4V at 1mA, and a maximum clamping voltage of 7V at 1A. The device can handle a peak pulse power of 300W under an 8/20µs waveform. Maximum leakage current at stand-off voltage is 200µA, and capacitance is 800pF at 1MHz.
The SMDA03 is housed in an 8-SOIC surface mount package (0.154", 3.90mm width) with a supplier device package of 8-SO. It operates over a junction temperature range of -55°C to 125°C and has a storage temperature range of -55°C to 150°C. The device is lead-free and RoHS3 compliant.
