The WIMA SMD73 is a compact step motor driver measuring 52.4x52.4 mm, ideal for direct mounting onto high-torque motors or surface mounting. It supports a wide power supply range of 18-48 VDC and can deliver up to 3 A RMS per phase.
This driver is capable of handling up to 50 ksteps/sec and offers selectable step resolutions including 1/1, 1/2, 1/4, 1/5, and 1/8 steps/rev. It also features selectable input voltages of 24V PNP/NPN and 5V, providing flexibility for various system integrations. The SMD73 includes LED indicators for power and error status, and is protected against thermal overload, current overload, and short-circuits.
