The Vishay Dale SMCJ75CA-E3/57T is a TRANSZORB® Transient Voltage Suppressor (TVS) diode designed for protecting sensitive electronics from voltage transients. It features a low profile SMC (DO-214AB) package, making it ideal for automated placement on printed circuit boards.
This bidirectional TVS diode provides excellent clamping capability with a peak pulse power dissipation of 1500W (10/1000 μs waveform). It has a working voltage of 75V and a clamping voltage of 121V at 12.4A. The operating temperature range is -55°C to 150°C.
Typical applications include protection against voltage transients induced by inductive load switching and lighting on ICs, MOSFETs, and signal lines in consumer, computer, industrial, automotive, and telecommunication systems. The glass passivated chip junction ensures reliability and fast response time.
The device meets MSL level 1 and is available in RoHS-compliant and halogen-free options. Terminals are matte tin plated and solderable per J-STD-002.
