The SMCJ60CA is a bidirectional TVS diode from Littelfuse designed to protect sensitive electronics from voltage transients. It features a reverse standoff voltage of 60V, a maximum clamping voltage of 96.8V at 15.5A peak pulse current, and a peak pulse power dissipation of 1500W under 10/1000µs waveform. The device is surface mountable in a DO-214AB (SMC) package and is suitable for general purpose applications. It is RoHS3 compliant, halogen free, and lead free with matte tin plating. The diode offers low leakage current, fast response time, and meets MSL level 1. It is ideal for protecting I/O interfaces, VCC buses, and other circuits in telecom, computer, industrial, and consumer electronics.
