The SMCJ58CA-13-F is a 1500W bidirectional transient voltage suppression (TVS) diode from Diodes Incorporated, designed to protect sensitive electronic circuits from voltage transients. It offers a reverse standoff voltage of 58V and a maximum clamping voltage of 93.6V at a peak pulse current of 16A (10/1000μs waveform). The device can handle a peak forward surge current of 200A (8.3ms single half sine wave).
This TVS diode features fast response time and excellent clamping capability, making it suitable for general-purpose transient protection on power supply lines and data interfaces. It is constructed with a glass passivated die for reliability and is available in a bidirectional configuration, eliminating the need for polarity orientation.
The SMCJ58CA-13-F is housed in a surface-mount DO-214AB (SMC) package with matte tin termination finish. It is RoHS3 compliant, halogen and antimony free, and has a moisture sensitivity level of 1 (unlimited). The operating junction temperature range is -55°C to 150°C, with a storage temperature range of -55°C to 175°C.
