The SMCJ54CA is a bidirectional TVS diode from Littelfuse, part of the SMCJ series. It is designed to protect sensitive electronic equipment from voltage transients induced by lightning and other transient events.
Key specifications include a reverse standoff voltage of 54V, maximum clamping voltage of 87.1V at 17.3A peak pulse current (10/1000µs waveform), and a peak pulse power dissipation of 1500W (1.5kW).
