The SMCJ5.0A-13-F is a 1500W surface-mount transient voltage suppressor (TVS) diode from Diodes Incorporated, designed to protect sensitive electronic circuits from voltage transients. It is a unidirectional device with a maximum clamping voltage of 9.2V and can handle a peak pulse current of 163A under a 10/1000μs waveform. The device also features a 200A peak forward surge current capability (8.3ms single half sine wave) and a steady state power dissipation of 5.0W at +75°C lead temperature.
