The Vishay Dale SMCJ45CA-E3/57T is a surface mount Transient Voltage Suppressor (TVS) diode designed for protecting sensitive electronics from voltage transients. It features a low profile DO-214AB (SMC) package, making it suitable for automated placement.
This bidirectional TVS diode has a breakdown voltage of 45V and a clamping voltage of 72.7V at a peak pulse current of 20.6A. It can handle a peak pulse power of 1500W with a 10/1000 μs waveform. The operating temperature range is -55°C to 150°C.
Key features include excellent clamping capability and very fast response time.
