The SMCJ43CA is a surface mount TVS diode from the Littelfuse SMCJ series, designed to protect sensitive electronic equipment from voltage transients. It is a bidirectional device with a peak pulse power dissipation of 1500W (10/1000μs waveform). The reverse standoff voltage is 43V, and the maximum clamping voltage is 69.4V at a peak pulse current of 21.7A. The device has a fast response time of less than 1 ps and meets IEC 61000-4-2 ESD protection standards (30kV air/contact).
