The SMCJ43CA-13-F is a 1500W surface-mount bidirectional transient voltage suppressor (TVS) diode designed for general-purpose overvoltage protection. It provides a reverse standoff voltage of 43V, a minimum breakdown voltage of 47.8V, and a maximum clamping voltage of 69.4V at a peak pulse current of 21.6A (10/1000µs waveform).
This device features a glass passivated die construction for robust reliability and fast response time. It is housed in a compact DO-214AB (SMC) package suitable for surface-mount assembly. The operating junction temperature range is -55°C to +150°C, with storage capability up to +175°C.
The part is RoHS3 compliant, halogen and antimony free, and meets moisture sensitivity level 1 per J-STD-020. It is supplied in tape and reel packaging with a standard quantity of 3000 pieces per reel.
