The SMCJ30CA-TR is a bidirectional Zener TVS diode from STMicroelectronics designed for general purpose circuit protection. It features a reverse stand-off voltage of 30V and a clamping voltage of 64.3V at a peak pulse current of 156A (8/20µs waveform). The device can handle 1500W of peak pulse power, providing robust transient suppression. It is housed in a surface mount DO-214AB (SMC) package and operates over a temperature range of -55°C to 150°C. The part is not intended for power line protection.
