The SMCJ30A is a 1500W transient voltage suppression (TVS) diode from Littelfuse's SMCJ series, designed to protect sensitive electronic equipment from voltage transients. It features a reverse standoff voltage of 30V and a maximum clamping voltage of 48.4V at 31A peak pulse current (10/1000µs waveform). The device offers a typical response time of less than 1.0ps and a low incremental surge resistance.
