The SMCJ24CA-TR is a bidirectional Zener TVS diode from STMicroelectronics designed for transient voltage suppression in general purpose applications. It offers a clamping voltage of 50V at a peak pulse current of 200A (8/20µs waveform) and a peak pulse power rating of 1500W.
This diode operates over a junction temperature range of -55°C to 150°C, making it suitable for a wide variety of environments. It is not intended for power line protection.
