The SMCJ24CA-13 is a 1500W bidirectional transient voltage suppressor (TVS) diode from Diodes Incorporated. It features a 24V reverse standoff voltage, a minimum breakdown voltage of 26.7V, and a maximum clamping voltage of 38.9V at a peak pulse current of 38.6A (10/1000µs waveform).
Designed for general purpose transient protection, it provides fast response and excellent clamping capability. The device uses a glass passivated die construction for reliability. It is rated for operation from -55°C to 150°C.
The SMCJ24CA-13 is housed in a surface mount DO-214AB (SMC) package with lead-free matte tin finish terminals. It is RoHS3 compliant, halogen and antimony free (green device), and has a moisture sensitivity level of 1 (unlimited). Supplied in tape and reel packaging with 3000 pieces per reel.
