The SMCJ24A-13-F is a unidirectional transient voltage suppressor (TVS) diode from Diodes Incorporated, designed to protect sensitive electronics from voltage transients. It features a standoff voltage of 24V and a maximum clamping voltage of 38.9V at a peak pulse current of 38.6A.
With a peak pulse power dissipation of 1500W (10/1000μs waveform), this device offers robust protection for general-purpose applications. It also has a peak forward surge current rating of 200A (8.3ms) and a steady-state power dissipation of 5.0W at +75°C lead temperature.
The device is housed in a DO-214AB (SMC) surface-mount package, with lead-free matte tin plating and a cathode band polarity indicator. It is RoHS3 compliant, halogen and antimony free, and has an MSL of Level 1. Operating temperature range is -55°C to +150°C.
