The SMCJ22A-TR is a unidirectional Zener TVS diode from STMicroelectronics designed for general purpose transient voltage protection. It offers a maximum clamping voltage of 48.3V at a peak pulse current of 207A (8/20 µs waveform), with a peak pulse power rating of 1500W. This device is not intended for power line protection.
Housed in a surface mount DO-214AB (SMC) package, the SMCJ22A-TR is suitable for automated assembly and supports an operating junction temperature range of -55°C to 150°C. It is RoHS3 compliant and has an MSL rating of 1 (Unlimited). The unidirectional configuration provides protection against positive transient overvoltages in a variety of electronic circuits.
