The SMCJ200A is a unidirectional transient voltage suppression (TVS) diode designed to protect sensitive electronic equipment from voltage transients. It offers a peak pulse power dissipation of 1500W (10/1000µs waveform) and a clamping voltage of 324V. The device features a reverse standoff voltage of 200V and a breakdown voltage range of 222V to 247V. It is suitable for general purpose applications such as I/O interfaces, VCC bus, and other vulnerable circuits in telecom, computer, industrial, and consumer electronics. The SMCJ200A is housed in a DO-214AB (SMC) surface mount package and supports operating temperatures from -55°C to 150°C. It is halogen free, RoHS compliant, and has an MSL level of 1.
