The SMCJ170A-13 is a unidirectional transient voltage suppressor (TVS) diode from Diodes Incorporated, designed for general purpose circuit protection. It features a reverse standoff voltage of 170V and a maximum clamping voltage of 275V.
With a peak pulse power dissipation of 1500W (10/1000μs waveform) and a peak pulse current of 5.5A, this device provides robust protection against voltage transients. It also offers a peak forward surge current of 200A (8.3ms) and steady state power dissipation of 5.0W at +75°C.
