The SMCJ15CA-13-F is a 1500W bidirectional transient voltage suppressor (TVS) diode from Diodes Incorporated. It features a reverse standoff voltage of 15V and a clamping voltage of 24.4V at a peak pulse current of 61.5A. The device can handle a peak forward surge current of 200A (8.3ms) and has a steady-state power dissipation of 5.0W at 75°C lead temperature.
This TVS diode is designed for general purpose transient protection, offering fast response time and excellent clamping capability. It is housed in a surface mount SMC package (DO-214AB) with matte tin termination finish. The operating junction temperature range is -55°C to 150°C, with storage from -55°C to 175°C.
