The SMCJ15A-13-F is a 1500W peak pulse power transient voltage suppressor (TVS) diode from Diodes Incorporated, designed for surface-mount applications. It provides unidirectional protection with a reverse standoff voltage of 15V and a clamping voltage of 24.4V at a peak pulse current of 61.5A. The device features a fast response time and excellent clamping capability, making it suitable for protecting sensitive electronics from voltage transients.
This TVS diode is housed in a DO-214AB (SMC) package with a matte tin finish and weighs approximately 0.21 grams. It operates over a junction temperature range of -55°C to 150°C and can be stored from -55°C to 175°C. The package is molded plastic with a UL flammability rating of 94V-0 and meets moisture sensitivity level 1 (MSL1) per J-STD-020.
