The SMCJ150A is a unidirectional Zener TVS diode from Littelfuse's SMCJ series, designed to protect sensitive electronic equipment from voltage transients. It offers a peak pulse power dissipation of 1500W (10/1000µs waveform) and features a reverse standoff voltage of 150V with a maximum clamping voltage of 243V at 6.2A peak pulse current. The device is not intended for power line protection and is suitable for general purpose applications.
It is housed in a surface mount DO-214AB (SMC) package with an operating temperature range of -55°C to 150°C. The SMCJ150A is RoHS compliant and has an MSL of 1 (unlimited). The series also provides ESD protection per IEC 61000-4-2 (30kV air/contact) and EFT protection per IEC 61000-4-4.
