The SMCJ14A-13-F is a 1500W surface-mount transient voltage suppressor (TVS) diode from Diodes Incorporated. Designed for general purpose circuit protection, it offers a standoff voltage of 14V and a maximum clamping voltage of 23.2V. With a peak pulse current rating of 64.7A, it provides robust protection against voltage transients.
This TVS diode features a glass passivated die construction for reliable performance and fast response time. It is unidirectional, with a single protection channel. The device is capable of handling 1500W of peak pulse power dissipation and 200A of peak forward surge current (8.3ms single half sine wave). Steady-state power dissipation is rated at 5.0W at +75°C lead temperature.
The SMCJ14A-13-F is housed in a surface-mount SMC package (DO-214AB) and is supplied in tape and reel packaging with 3000 units per reel. It operates over a junction temperature range of -55°C to +150°C and can be stored from -55°C to +175°C.
