The SMCJ130A is a unidirectional TVS (transient voltage suppression) diode from Littelfuse, designed to protect sensitive electronic equipment from voltage transients induced by lightning and other transient events. It features a reverse standoff voltage of 130V and a clamping voltage of 209V, ensuring robust protection for circuits operating at 130V or below.
With a peak pulse power dissipation of 1500W (10/1000µs waveform) and a peak pulse current of 7.2A, this device can handle significant surge events. The SMCJ130A is housed in a surface mount DO-214AB (SMCJ) package, suitable for automated assembly and space-constrained designs. It operates over a temperature range of -55°C to 150°C.
This TVS diode is ideal for protecting I/O interfaces, VCC buses, and other vulnerable circuits in telecom, computer, industrial, and consumer electronic applications. It is halogen free and RoHS compliant, with a matte tin lead-free finish.
