The SMCJ12A-TR is a unidirectional transient voltage suppression (TVS) diode manufactured by STMicroelectronics. It is designed to protect sensitive electronic circuits from voltage transients induced by lightning, inductive load switching, and electrostatic discharge. The device features a reverse standoff voltage of 12V and a maximum clamping voltage of 25.3V.
